As a volunteer, you work 4 days and 15-20 hours per week in the classroom teaching or developing class curricula. You teach 40 minute classes for middle school grades 7, 8, 9. Your students ages are 12 – 14 years old and your class size will be 28 students.
A TESOL/TEFL certification is preferred but not necessary to be a volunteer.
No TESOL/TEFL certification, then the ITA Accreditation Program (ITAAP) is highly recommended. Sign-up for the program at
